We do believe that we are leading dojo in Prague in terms of training Aikido without eliminating weapons. Founder of Aikido has been always training the Aikido with weapons and so we do.

We welcome aikidokas of every style to visit us short term or long term. Everyone is welcome and we are looking forward to exchange experience on great aikido art.

Aikido style:

We do practice aikido with respects to teachings of Shoji Nishio sensei.

Shihan Shoji Nishio belonged to the most innovative aikido teachers and his style covers empty handed techniques, iai techniques as well as partner exercises with sword (ken), stick (jo).

We support the advance style of Nishio sensei by Takemusu teachings (tai jutsu, Aiki ken and Aiki jo ) with great help of Kouchi Tanaka sensei (Aikido Syothokai) who teaches this on his regular seminars in Czech (31 jo Kata, Kumi Tachi, Kumi jo, Ki Musubi No Tachi).

Aiki toho iai supported by basics of Seitei, Shinto ho and Omory ryu iai

Some of our club members are also interested in Kyusho justu which can make the study in our dojo even more interesting for you.
